NATALIE GRANT IS AWESOME!!!

Natalie sent out a tweet that said, "What are you doing today that will matter in 5 years?"  And then she added that she was going to Sephora for lip gloss, lol.  :-)  Are you following The Fish on Twitter?  www.twitter.com/kfsh

We're taking Dallas out to a restaurant for the very first time this weekend, as it's his daddy's birthday.  He usually just hangs out here in a onesie (Dallas, not his dad!  Insert rimshot here, thank you.) around the house, so he got a special outfit with cargo pants to wear.  If YOU have a special occasion, check out our Half-Price Deal Of The Week to find out how you can save $$$ while eating out.

Are you planning any pranks for April Fool's Day?  Almost every station I've ever worked for has started April 1st off by playing Country Music and pretending to change formats.  Just a heads up in case you hear Tim McGraw tomorrow morning, lol.

Are you sponsoring a World Vision child?  The Fish has taken on a village in Zambia, Makungwa, and we are praying that every child there finds a sponsor.  You can see pics and bios of the kids when you click on the World Vision banner on our homepage.  Check out this wonderful email from Char, who sponsors 4 World Vision kids:

The things I love about sponsoring children is that it makes me smile, knowing that I am helping someone much less fortunate than I am to have at least the basics, such as clean water and basic medical care.  I love the interaction with the children too....sending them letters and getting them back.
The other reason I chose to sponsor children was because it is a way of sacrificing for me....I gave up my Starbucks habit and I bring lunch to work in order to afford to help my four kids (2 boys and 2 girls now).
It is such a wonderful feeling....the closest child to me is Cesar in Mexico and I hope to be able to go visit him in the next year or two.

YAY!!!  We can change this world, one child at a time. Char, thank you for being such an inspiration.

I wanted to share something from today's My Utmost For His Highest selection by Oswald Chambers (you can see the daily readings at www.myutmost.org).  This really convicted me, because I am so guilty of condemning someone instead of praying for them.  With God's help, I will change this.

If we are not heedful of the way the Spirit of God works in us, we will become spiritual hypocrites. We see where other folks are failing, and we turn our discernment into the gibe of criticism instead of into intercession on their behalf. The revelation is made to us not through the acuteness of our minds, but by the direct penetration of the Spirit of God, and if we are not heedful of the source of the revelation, we will become criticizing centres and forget that God says - ". . . he shall ask, and He shall give him life for them that sin not unto death." Take care lest you play the hypocrite by spending all your time trying to get others right before you worship God yourself.
I always love to hear from you!  Email me at lara@thefish959.com.  We are halfway to the weekend!!!

BREAKFAST WITH MERCYME!!!

Have you entered the contest yet?  Nominate the most giving person you know, and the two of you might get to spend some quality time with MercyMe next week.  :-)  I am blessed to know so many wonderful people that give so much:  My friend Corina started a Skid Row ministry at her church...my friend Alena takes in special needs foster children...BWD sponsors so many World Vision kids....Malinda works with the kids at her church.....I could go on and on. Check out the Station Events section of the site for all the details/rules/etc.

Dallas is nineteen weeks, and about to start crawling!  How did you babyproof the house?  I thought we would get a few covers for our outlets and move the knives up high in the kitchen, but not so much--I've got a sheet that has info on the front and back in tiny print of everything we need to do!  We are starting this weekend.

There's a Jeremy Camp interview in our Music News section, and it's so sweet!  He says that his dream duet partner is his wife, Adrienne.  :-)  He would also like to sing with Steven Curtis Chapman!  We would LOVE to hear that.

It's been said that nobody walks in LA, but that's not true!  Shelly is taking a lunchtime walk from Manhattan Beach to Redondo Beach.  What are you up to while you listen?  Let me know at lara@thefish959.com  so I can give you a shout on the air!  And thanks for making The Fish a part of your day.

HAPPY EASTER FROM DALLAS!

3.29.2010

HAPPY EASTER!!!

What are your plans for Easter?  Will you be planning an egg hunt?  Going to a Sunrise Service?  Let us know at lara@thefish959.com

Have you considered sponsoring a World Vision child?  The Fish has "adopted" a village in Zambia called Makungwa, and our goal is to find a sponsor for every single child that lives there.  You can click on the World Vision banner on our homepage and look at the kids in the village that are praying for a sponsor!  For just about $1 a day, you can make sure that a child receives things like improved nutrition, educational opportunities, access to clean water, medical care, and more!  Plus, your family gets to write letters and really get to know your child, and you will also get access to "My Sponsorship" when you sign up.  It's the Facebook of sponsorship, with even more ways to connect to our Fish village and your special child.  And you know what rocks?  In addition to taking care of a child's basic necessities, you give that precious little one hope!  Your sponsorship sends a message that they have not been forgotten, and that you believe they are worth investing in.  As we celebrate Easter, and the fact that we have a new life in Christ, I pray that you will extend hope to a child who has nothing, and really let them know that we love them because He first loved us.  Thank you for your heart for the poor!  And I would love to hear about YOUR World Vision child.  Your stories always make me cry, but I love reading them and sharing them with our Fish Family.

How 'bout breakfast with MERCYME?!  You could chow down with the guys at Rockwell's Bakery in Villa Park, and then watch an exclusive performance.  COOL!   You can find complete contest details in our Station Events section, but basically we are asking you to nominate the kindest, most loving and giving person you know.

Dallas has found a new way to eat his pureed peas!  He dips his hand in the spoon, puts that in his mouth, and then tries to hold my hand.  :-)

Have you heard "Before The Morning" by Josh Wilson?  We are getting so many requests for this.  He wrote this for a friend's son, who had a congenital heart defect and wasn't supposed to live.  That little boy is now 8!  God is good!!!

3.26.2010

KUTLESS TICKETS!!!

They went on sale this morning (unless you had the special Fish password and got 'em yesterday)!  Go to our Station Events section for the link to get tix.  They'll be at Newport Mesa church next month.  Yay!

Wherever you go this weekend, you can take our Positive Music along with you!  Just download the FREE Iphone and Blackberry Apps on our Homepage.

Jodi said that she is having sympathy sleep pains!  After hearing me talk about being up at all hours with Dallas, she is now waking up at 3 a.m.  :-)

I've gotten so many emails for "Before The Morning" from Josh Wilson!  It's such a beautiful and encouraging song, and it talks about how the darkest hour is before the dawn.  Maybe you are walking through that dark hour in your life today...hold on!  Morning is coming, and God is with you.

God bless you!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see ya at Faith and Family Night with the LA Kings and Jadon Lavik tomorrow.

SMITTY IS A GRANDPA!!! CONGRATS!!!

Michael W Smith is once again a grandpa! Smith Elisha Mooring has come into the world!

Smith's mother is Michael W Smith's daughter Whitney. The proud papa is Jack Mooring of the Christian band Leeland.

In a recent video blog, dated 3/23/10, Michael W Smith stated about the delivery, "Thanks for everybody praying for them. A little touch and go, but all is well." Whitney Mooring is said to be fine.

JADON LAVIK AT FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT!!!

It's been another crazyyyyyyy week, so come on out and have some fun with us at Faith and Family Night on Saturday!!!  Your ticket gets you into the pregame concert with Jadon, the Kings vs. Dallas Stars game, and you also get a Kings Bobblehead.  Plus, if you bring a group, you get an extra-special discount.  Check out our Fish FB or the Station Events section at http://www.fish959.com/ for full details.

MercyMe, Crowder, Franny B, Sidewalk Prophets, Fee, and Remedy Drive in concert for....10 bux??!!  It's true! It's the Rock 'N Worship Road Show on April 8th at Long Beach Arena, and you just show up and pay $10 at the door.  No advance tix required!

I love this quote from Karen Kingsbury, one of my favorite authors:  "You have one chance to write the story of your life.  One chance to love, to laugh, and to truly live life."

Let me know what you have planned for the weekend at lara@thefish959.com.  It should be nice...sunny with highs in the 80s!

Dallas, who is 18 weeks now, is preparing to crawl!  It's so cute--he pushes up with his strong little arms and sticks his little bottom in the air and kind of sways back and forth.  We start babyproofing in about a week!  How did YOU babyproof?

3.24.2010

MEMORIES!!!

I love hearing your stories about your kids, and getting your pics and parenting advice!  Jodi sent in this awesome picture of Calvin after some mashed potatoes.

Barbara (who's about to become a grandmother again--CONGRATS!!!) shared this:  When my kids were little like Dallas they would get food everywhere, and by everywhere I mean in the hair, up their nose, on the floor. I wish I had the pictures of them from back then.

And speaking of Dallas, we'll be taking him to church for the first time on Easter Sunday (please pray for us!!!).  If you're looking for an Easter Sunday Service, you can join Calvary Chapel Tustin at Tustin High School.  We've got all the info in our Station Events section.  Pastor Barry Stagner is presenting a message called, "Heaven--Are You Ready?"

Are you ready to get some amazing seats to Kutless?  RSVP to the show on our Fish Facebook, and you'll get a special presale password to buy the tix tomorrow, one day before the general public.  Whoo hoo!

Praise Report!  THANK YOU so very much for praying for a friend's little boy!  A few weeks ago, I told you that he woke up and couldn't see, and the doctors didn't have any answers as to why.  Well, his sight has gradually come back, and it is a true miracle!!!  How can we pray for YOU?  Email me at lara@thefish959.com

CURE INTERNATIONAL

You have a chance today to give a child the gift of being able to walk!!!  And it happens for as little as $75 with Cure International.  Just call 888-877-8994, or click on the Cure Intl. banner on our homepage at www.fish959.com.  Check out the story of Singina:
Clubfoot is a condition that is easily treatable at birth. Unfortunately, more than 200,000 babies will be born with clubfeet this year in the developing world and will not receive the treatment they need. For children like Singina, the only option is surgery. But with your help, we can cure Singina and make sure that other disabled children get the cure they need before surgery is their only option. If caught before a child is 2 years old, we can treat clubfoot with a series of casts -- avoiding surgery and the pain of growing up with crooked feet. We hope to expand this program into 100 countries over the next ten years and you can help us eradicate clubfoot from the planet!
Singina's clubfoot prevented her from ever being able to walk, run or even play like children should. But you can help change her life.

DALLAS LOOKS LIKE HE NEEDS A SHAVE!!!

We started Dallas on rice cereal, and I think that perhaps one bite actually made it into his tummy.  :-)  I would love to hear YOUR memories of doing this with your kids and see your pics!  You can email me at lara@thefish959.com.  He is starting to get the hang of things now (after a few days), and will put his little mouth out toward the spoon if Mama isn't fast enough.

Want to get the BEST seats in the house for the Kutless show?  Go to our Fish Facebook and RSVP for a special password to a presale.  Our Facebook is linked from http://www.fish959.com/.  How awesome will "That's What Faith Can Do" sound live?!

We love to hear where you listen to us!  Loriene, thanks for having us on at Ezell Company in Lomita.

Do you have your Faith and Family Night Tix yet?  It's Saturday at Staples Center, and your ticket gets you into a pregame concert with Jadon Lavik, the Kings vs. Dallas Stars game, and a Kings Bobblehead.  Check out our Station Events section for ticket info!

3.19.2010

HAPPY WEEKEND!!!

Hasn't this week been gorgeous?!  And Spring officially arrives tomorrow.  And then Easter is 2 weeks from Sunday.  Time is flying by!!!

What are you up to this weekend?  Maybe you're in the LA Marathon?  Lydia is taking her daughter to a Farmer's Market in Venice, which she loves because she gets tons of yummy samples.  Fruit from a Farmer's Market is the best!!!  Let me know what you're up to at lara@thefish959.com

The 5K Fun Run/Walk is Saturday in Irvine, and you can find info on it in our Station Events section.  It benefits the OC Rescue Mission.  A beautiful day, fresh air, and helping a wonderful organization--it doesn't get better than that.  :-)

Here's what Sanctus Real had to say about their latest song, "Forgiven:"  We were talking as a band about the wear and tear of our insecurities and failures. At the end of the conversation we realized that no matter what we are or what we’ve done, in this world, to other people, or even to ourselves, we don’t have to carry the weight. It was a huge burden lifted to remember the truth behind the lyrics, “when I don’t measure up to much in this life, I’m a treasure in the arms of Christ.”

3.18.2010

SUMMER CAMP WITH TOBYMAC?

How fun does THAT sound?!  When I was a kid, I was sent to a camp in Georgia where we spent a lot of time sitting at picnic tables, carving things in them.  :-)  Toby runs a music camp for youth called Camp Electric, and you can read all about it at www.tobymac.com.

Do you keep your big ol' to-do list on your phone?  I do, because I'm constantly adding things to it.  But...I accidentally erased it!  After the initial panic subsided, it felt kind of freeing.  I was able to remember the important stuff and put it on a new list (this time I also am putting it in my dayplanner, lol), and I realized that a lot of things I thought I had to do aren't necessary right now.  I think I'm so used to being busy and Type A that I tend to clutter my life with "stuff."  But now, with Dallas, I am learning to let so much of that go and be happy in the moment.  He is just a baby, but he has already taught me so much.  Here's to a relaxing day and a FUN weekend!

And don't forget about the extra Half-Price Deal Of The Week, a.k.a. The Big Wave Dave Blue Plate Special.  Today at 5, you can get restaurant gift certificates to Gulliver's (Creamed Corn--Yum!!!)!!!  Click here for more:  http://www.fish959.com/Article.asp?id=1734932&spid=18252

3.17.2010

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

As you can see, Dallas is ready to party in his sassy holiday onesie.  :-)

Have you eaten anything green today?

What are your weekend plans?  It's Wednesday--we're halfway there!!!  And Spring officially arrives on Saturday, although it's been feeling like Summer all week.

Is Tenth Avenue North one of your favorite new bands?  I'm still not sick of their debut album!  Album #2 arrives on May 11th, and it's called The Light Meets The Dark.  Awesome name!!!  Let me know what artists YOU love...you can email me anytime at lara@thefish959.com

3.16.2010

DALLAS IN HIS JUMPER!!!

He's seventeen weeks (!!!) now, and he loves to practice standing, so we thought it might be time for a jumper.  And we also heard that it can help burn off some energy and help kids sleep better, so we couldn't get this quick enough, lol.  His feet don't quite touch the ground yet, so we put a little pillow under him so he can push off of that.  He was all smiles and drool this first time in!  And lol--I think the jumper plays The Chicken Dance.  If you have kids, what was your experience with the jumper?

You may have heard me talking about Acacia Adult Day Services, and I just wanted to say again what a wonderful place it is!  I visited them in Garden Grove, and asked if I could come and spend some of MY days there.  It is a beautiful and warm and FUN place for older adults, where they can come and make new friends and do all of these great activities (there's a garden, exercise room, arts and crafts and tons more!), and also get the specialized health services and attention they need.  One gal I talked to said that she loves to come every day while her daughter is at work to see her friends, and that every Sunday she has her outfit for Acacia on  Monday set out on her bed.  How cute is that?  Acacia is just off the 22 in Garden Grove, and you can stop in and see them anytime.  Their phone number is 714-530-1566, and the site is http://www.acacia-services.org/

Michael W. Smith, Natalie Grant, and tons of other artists have recorded a song to help the people of Haiti, and you can watch the video in our Music News section.

What are your plans for St. Patty's Day?  Crystal emailed that she'll be having Green Eggs (hold the ham), and possibly a Green English Muffin!

Doesn't it seem like our to-do lists are getting longer and our days crazier?  I heard a great saying that you can use to help prioritize tasks.  Ask yourself, "Does this tire me or inspire me?"

3.15.2010

HOT HOT HOT!!!

It feels like SUMMER!!!  Hello, 80-something temps!!!  Are you in shorts?  Bust out the flip-flops--it's going to be warm again tomorrow.

How's Monday going?  I hope that you're blessed by the positive music today!!!  I feel like I have jet lag and just want to take a nap, but with a young baby I kind of feel that way every day, so I"m not sure if it's related to the time change.  :-)  Did you remember to Spring Forward?  Or did you realize it this morning when you showed up late for work?!

Big Wave Dave is heading back to Golf 'N Stuff in Norwalk for another Battle Of The Bands!  Get the scoop in our Station Events section.  You can also check out the 5K Fun Run/Walk in Irvine this weekend!

3.12.2010

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOUR KIDS?

I sent out a Tweet with that question, and Rebecca had a wonderful answer:  "Patience and unconditional love!  God bless our children.  What a gift!"  Are YOU following us on Twitter?  www.twitter.com/kfsh

If you love "Save A Place For Me" by Matthew West, watch the video!  You'll find it in our Music News section.  It is a beautiful tribute to loved ones that have been lost.

Don't forget to Spring Forward tomorrow night!!!  The days are going to be longer and sunnier, which will make it easier to get motivated for that after work walk.  :-)  Set your clock ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night.

What's your favorite song?  Let me know at lara@thefish959.com.  Virginia loves anything by Tenth Avenue North, as she says their song remind her that no matter how bad things get, she is not alone, and that all things are possible with God.

Happy Friday!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  And get ready for 80 degrees on Monday!!!

3.11.2010

JOSH WILSON

Have you heard his new song "Before The Morning" yet?  LOVES IT!!!  And Josh is awesome.  :-)  He was stuck in an airport on the East Coast recently, and instead of complaining, he whipped out his guitar and led all the other stranded folks in an impromptu sing-a-long.

How 'bout Crowder, Franny B, Sidewalk Prophets, and more in concert?  It's the Rock And Worship Road Show, and it's coming to Ontario and Long Beach.  Whoo hoo!  Get more info in our Music News section.

I love what Mark Hall of Casting Crowns said recently:  "If we focus on storms, we will always wonder if God loves us.  If we focus on the cross, we will always know."  I hope that you remember that as you go through today, and rest securely in the knowledge that you are so precious to God.

3.10.2010

LOVE THAI FOOD?

Tomorrow morning at 8, you can grab $50 gift certificates for $25 to Thai Issan in Cerritos with our Half Price Deal Of The Week!  Check out http://www.fish959.com/ for specifics!

I brought Dallas (sporting his "Big Dog Academy" gray sweatsuit) in to meet everyone at The Fish, and he promptly threw up on my boss!!!  This was taken just a moment before that, lol.  I was like, you are supposed to just be smiling at the man who holds mommy's future in his hands!  Thankfully, Chuck is a grandpa and is used to this.  :-)

Listen for a wonderful new song this week from Josh Wilson called "Before The Morning."  This is the guy who sings "Savior Please," and we're so excited to introduce you to his latest.  :-)

3.09.2010

SANCTUS REAL ONLINE EVENT!!!

If you love Sanctus Real's song "Forgiven," the CD it's from is out today!  It's called Pieces Of A Real Heart, and to celebrate the release they are doing a special online event tonight at 6p.  They'll be doing some accoustic tunes and answering your questions!  For all the info, check out the Music News section at http://www.fish959.com/.

What have you learned from your kids?  What lessons have they taught you?  Dallas, who is 16 weeks today, has already taught me patience, self-sacrifice, and how to love with a depth I never knew was possible.  Email me YOUR story at lara@thefish959.com.

We also love to hear what you do while you listen!  Here's what Jennifer said:

I listen in the Fullerton/Brea area everyday. I would say that I listen most in the morning(s) when I'm on my way to work, when I get off, and after work when I'm running errands. I've been listening to The Fish for many years now.  I ended up moving back to Orange County after working in Hollywood for a few years and decided to pursue a career in the area of missions, ministry, and possibly using film for ministry (documentaries, etc.) instead. So, that's my story :)How awesome is that?

And Jodi shared what her son is up to in preschool while she's working and listening to us:

Today they are celebrating Dr. Seuss and so all the kids got to come to school in their jammies. Then they are going to eat Green eggs and ham...and fruit and stuff and read Dr Seuss books. Wish I could
have come to work in my sweats! ;)

3.08.2010

MONDAY MONDAY!!!

So how was Monday?  We always love to hear how your day is going and what you're up to!  Email me anytime:  lara@thefish959.com.  And let me know where you listen so I can give you a shout during my show.  :-)

Here's a pic of Dallas and his first time on Daddy's shoulders.  My mom is visiting, and watched him overnight so we could get some sleep.  Yay!  However...I still woke up at 2 a.m., as I"m so used to it at this point, lol.

One artist we get TONS of requests for is TobyMac.  Yes, he is a famous artist, but he is first and foremost a family man.  In fact, he makes a point of getting home from the studio early to vacuum, help with the dishes, and do homework with the kids.  :-)

3.05.2010

FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT!!!

Join us at Faith and Family Night with the LA Kings and Jadon Lavik!!!  It's Saturday, March 27th at Staples Center.  Individual tickets start at 26 dollars and include a ticket to the game, access to the pre-game concert, a free download from Jadon Lavik, AND a limited edition Kings bobblehead! PLUS, groups of 10 or more start at only 22 dollars per ticket. Go to our Station Events section at http://www.fish959.com/ for more info.  :-)

What are you up to this weekend?  Cleaning the house?  Watching the Oscars?  I loved Up!  Jodi is going to be hanging with her son:  Calvin is gearing up for Kindergarten and we are starting to really work

with him on alphabet, numbers and spelling (did you have to read in Kindergarten?) He just doesn't like to have to do it. He likes to guess the answer rather than figure it out.  Too cute!

I always love to hear what you're up to!  You can email me at lara@thefish959.com and let me know what songs you love, who you would like to say hi to, etc.  Have a wonderful weekend!!!

3.04.2010

WHERE DO YOU LISTEN TO THE FISH?

And WHY do you listen?  What songs really touch your heart?  Let me know at lara@thefish959.com.  And whether you have just found us or have been listening for the past decade...we are so happy you are a part of our Fish family.  :-)

Colleen said, I listen all day in my car on the way to work, at work, and on my way home and even at home, too. My 13 year old daughter Rebecca and I just love this station and we are always singing and giving Praise to God.

Kathi enjoys "the music of faith, hope and love in Jesus. I listen all day at work and always while I am driving."

And Mikala shared that, "My Mom, sister and I listen from Irvine! We drive my little sister to Mariners Christian School in Costa Mesa, then we go back to my school Ranch Middle School. I like driving my sister, then I get to listen to the FISH longer! I listen to you on Holidays and in the summer. I love to listen to BWD and to John Tesh too! ALL of the FISH!"

I hope that you are enjoying this glorious Thursday!!!  :-)

3.03.2010

HOW YOUNG IS TOO YOUNG TO DATE?

It's a little blurry, but here's Dallas with his girlfriend!!!  They are both fifteen weeks old, which I"m thinking is a little young to start dating, lol.  I went over to visit my friend and her daughter, we put them down on a playmat, and they immediately started holding hands.  :-)

Are you following The Fish on Twitter?  www.twitter.com/kfsh  We follow Matthew West, who sent out a Tweet recently when he was a surprise guest at a local church talent show.  He went on right after a ten-year-old played a medley of Journey tunes on the piano.  :-)  He will be spending the rest of this month in a cabin, writing his next album, and it's going to be based on YOUR stories.  You can submit one through www.matthewwest.com.  I dedicated Matthew's song "Save A Place For Me" to Kathi today.  She lost her grandson Jakob in December after a brave battle with Leigh's disease.  He was such a special young man...as Kathi put it in her email:  My comfort is that he is without anymore pain ... although if you knew him, you would realize he never "suffered".  He accepted his infirmities with such grace and courage and a brilliant smile and joy.  He NEVER complained no matter what....
Please pray for Kathi, her daughter, and their whole family, that they would have peace and comfort, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they will be reunited with Jakob again one day.

FAITH AND BUSINESS FORUM

If you've ever wondered how to live out your faith at work, we want to invite you to the 7th Annual Faith & Business Forum!  It's March 12th (a week from Friday) at the Hyatt Regency in Irivine, and hosted by Concordia.  Ken Costa, the author of God At Work and a super-smart business/investment guy, is the speaker!  For all the info, check out our Station Events section at http://www.fish959.com/.
I"m playing the song "Singing Over Me" by Building 429 today.  I always check on Dallas while he's sleeping to make sure he is safe, and this song talks about how God does that for us--in fact, he sings over us.  :-)

Hi to Robin at Hope Chapel in Hermosa, Marlo from Vineyard Westside, and everyone who went to see Amy Grant last night!  Did you have fun?  Let us know what you thought of the show on Facebook or at lara@thefish959.com.  Are you planning to go to any other shows soon?

3.01.2010

AMY GRANT TIX!!!

We just heard that there are some that will be available at the door tonight!  The show is at Calvary Church Santa Ana, and you can get more info in our Station Events section at www.fish959.com.

Have you ever listened to John Tesh on The Fish?  He always has tons of tips, and was recently talking about what guys should do if they make a mistake:  own up to it quickly!  You can hear John every night from 7p--Midnight.

How about a free song from Sanctus Real?  They're offering a new tune from their Pieces Of A Real Heart cd via Facebook and Twitter.  Hey, are have you connected with us on Facebook and Twitter?  They're linked from www.fish959.com.

I hope that you're having a wonderful Monday!  It sure is beautiful out, but more rain is coming by this weekend--don't wash your car quite yet.  :-)
